Create & Publish Push Notification-Ready, Chrome Extension Lead Magnets With ChromEngage
With over a billion people using Google Chrome, the possibilities for lead generation are endless.
That’s why I decide to do a ChromEngage Review, lead generation software.
The main purpose of this system is to help you create lead magnets that will allow you to use email and push notifications to build your audience.
Using ChromEnage is very simple:
- Build the extension
- Connect push notifications
- Submit it to the Chrome Extension directory
- Have it Instantly approved and live
- Connect the system with my site
- Start collecting leads
How Does ChromEngage Work?
Simply put, this program allows you to create lead magnets by developing a Chrome extension based on your website.
Then, you publish them to the directory and watch as people start subscribing to your extension and opting in to push notifications.
One of the best things about ChromEngage is that it only takes a few minutes to make a new extension.
The first thing that you have to do is build the extension. Fortunately, ChromEngage makes this procedure as simple and painless as possible, meaning that you can create new extensions relatively quickly.
The home screen shows a list of your campaigns, which is another word for your extensions.
Since the point of the extension is to generate leads, they are considered marketing campaigns by the software. All you have to do is click on the button that says “add campaign, ” and you can get started.
As you can see, there is a form that you have to fill out when building the extension.
You will also need to have icons and graphics so that when the extension populates onto the browser, it will show up with your logo. You don’t need to have it right away, but it should be there before you go live.
In the form, you will name your extension, link it to your website, and enter your Firebase server ID.
Firebase is a free program that works with Chrome’s extension directory, so once you have installed ChromEngage, you can get your server ID so that everything will function properly.
There is another feature that is important to note, which is that you can decide if your push notifications will collapse automatically or if you want your users to close it themselves.
If you opt for the automatic option, it will close after five seconds, but usually, you will want to leave it on so that you don’t risk your users missing out on a notification.
Another aspect of your campaign that you should create initially is the opt-in form.
Since you want to build your subscriber list, you can make a form that will ask users for their name and email address. You can customize the form how you like using HTML, or you can use ChromEngage’s many templates.
There is also an option to create a widget for WordPress websites.
The great thing about the widget option is that it will work on your site regardless of if the user has Google Chrome, and you can add a description that highlights the fact that your extension is only available in Chrome, so they should install it ASAP.
Once the extension is built, then the next step will be to connect it to push notifications.
All you have to do is press the button on the campaign page that says “activate push notifications.”
This will be the most powerful tool in your marketing arsenal as it will allow you to engage with your clients in a much more dynamic way.
We’ll get into how to generate new notifications in a minute, but the first thing to do is activate them.
All you have to do now is submit your extension to the Chrome Extension directory, also known as the Chrome Web Store.
Again, this is a relatively untapped market, so it’s imperative that you get involved in it sooner rather than later, assuming that you want to reach potentially 1.5 billion users.
Wait for approval.
Fortunately, because Google is so good about adopting new extensions, you won’t have to wait long.
However, in some cases, it can take as long as an hour to get the whole thing published, so you will have to be somewhat patient.
What’s important to remember here is that you will also have to do this everytime you update your extension, so try and limit the number of updates you do.
Overall, it’s better to take your time and do it right the first time instead of rushing it and then changing it later.
Once your extension is published, it’s live, meaning that people can download and start using it.
Make sure that your extension looks good in the Chrome store.
Although you will have created a short description of the extension in ChromEngage, you will have to do the same in the store as well.
However, the most important thing to do is to generate and post screenshots of your extension in action. If you don’t have screenshots, then you won’t make as much of an impact, which can hamper the number of leads you get.
You can also create and upload promotional tiles as well to help sell your extension to the public.
What you want to remember is that your images and graphics should stand out from the other extensions in the directory.
I recommend that you look at other extensions with similar features as yours and see what you can do to make yours unique. This will go a long way toward building your new leads.
And that’s it!
Once your extension is live and connected to your site, you can sit back and let the leads pour in. Overall, this whole procedure shouldn’t take that long, and the results will be stunning.
In fact, when ChromEngage tested it out, they had 260 users subscribed to push notifications, with 30% of them also signed up for email subscriptions as well.
Not only that, but they had the top ranking on Google for their keyword “Dizign.”

The Bottom Line
I decide to do this ChromEngage Review because I really like the fact that it makes building an extension a simple, step by step process.
Before, trying to do this on your own required some mastery of programming language, which made it prohibitive for most websites.
However, now that you have the means of creating a worthy extension, coupled with the fact that there is such a vast market of potential out there, means that this software is more than worth the price tag.
When purchasing ChromEngage, they have it set up to where you pay for the number of lead magnets that you want.
So, if you just want to test it out and see how it works, then you can buy a single package and go from there.
They also offer expansion packages and upgrades, but the core software is more than good enough to get you started.
Overall, I would say give it a try for 30 days and if you don't like it, you can return it.
But after you get it setup, you will not return it because it is the perfect product to help you get the leads you seek for your business.
